This is my most important Slide for understanding Ewing and Donn Climate Theory. This slide explains the various stages of a complete major cycle of Global Warming and then Ice Age in Ewing and Donn Climate Theory.

We will start in the middle of the long cold phase on this chart, which is much like the older cycles off to the right. The long cold period, when the oceans are frozen, are times of not much snow falling due to lack of a source of moisture. This is when miles thick ice sheets melt and sublimate. They thin, but they do not retreat. Albedo stays high and Earth stays cold, like an ice chest stays cold while the ice melts.  The oceans rise, some, but a lot of the water is trapped. The long cold cycle ends and the Earth starts to warm as the ice sheets retreat. The oceans warm and rise. Trapped water is released and the oceans rise more.  At some point, during the warming, warm water enters the Arctic and melts the ice. That causes massive amounts of Arctic Ocean Effect Snow all around the Northern Latitudes, in Greenland, as I will show data for, and also in North America, Europe and Asia.  Some of this snow is direct Arctic Ocean Effect Snow and some is because of the changes to the Jet Stream and other Weather Patterns.  This drops the oceans and rebuilds the ice sheets for the next Major Ice Age. At some point, water stops flowing into the Arctic and the snowing stops.  That is one major cycle of Ice Age and Global Warming in Ewing and Donn Climate Theory.
